The Murfreesboro Planning Commission on June 18 approved final design and site plan review for a proposed 4,020‑square‑foot Wells Fargo bank on Clary Park Lot 7, located along Medical Center Parkway and Honeylocust Lane.
Planning staff member Mr. Barbee told commissioners the design and site work had been refined since an initial May 21 presentation and that the plan provides pedestrian access to Medical Center Parkway and Roby Korlew Lane, plus a formal open space area with enhanced landscaping and seating. “This property… provides pedestrian access points to both Medical Center and Roby Korlew, along with a formal open space area,” Mr. Barbee said during the presentation.
Staff recommended approval subject to standard staff comments. Commissioners moved and seconded approval “subject to all staff comments.” A roll call recorded “aye” votes from Mr. Carroll, Mr. Harris, Mr. Prince, Mr. Wright and Chair Jones; the motion passed.
Staff will condition permit issuance on resolution of the listed staff comments and the applicant’s final submittals for architecture and site details.
