Jared, county staff, told the court the subgrant could provide up to $52,000 for security system upgrades and requires a 20% county match. "With this grant, would give the county our size up to $52,000 of money to be used for upgrading security systems or upgrading booting systems," Jared said. Staff said the county could satisfy the 20% match with Chapter 19 funds — state election‑related monies — if the proposed purchases qualify under Chapter 19 rules; if not, the county would cover the match from its budget. The court approved the resolution and motion to apply without objection.
