Resident raises phone, traffic and safety concerns during Cary open forum

On other topics, Erickson said he supported moving a shooting range further into the hill: "Thank god somebody moved it back 200 or more feet into the hill because it was getting it was I thought it was a very stupid layout. It was only a 100 feet from the house across the street." He complimented visible police activity and raised concerns about a roadblock on Spring Street where he said the blockage affected about 221 residences.
Erickson also suggested a downtown redevelopment idea — replacing the block with retail on the ground floor and two or three levels of condominiums to encourage walkability to the train — and offered a 95‑page Crystal Lake document for the board to review.
