Pinellas County commissioners unanimously adopted the 2025–2029 five‑year consolidated plan and the 2025–26 annual action plan, enabling continued administration of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs and submittal to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
County staff presented the plan in a public hearing and recommended the board adopt the resolution to authorize required actions related to program administration and HUD submission. No public correspondence was filed with the clerk on the item and board members offered no substantive changes during the hearing.
The resolution directs staff to carry out the county’s funded priorities in housing and homelessness services under the federal entitlement programs and to submit the finalized plans and certifications to HUD.
Ending: The plan’s adoption enables HUD entitlement funding to be allocated for housing, community development and emergency shelter services in the coming program year.
