The Effingham County Board approved three appointments to the county Board of Health and amended the term end dates to June 30, 2028 to reflect the statutory three-year terms.
Board Member Dave Campbell asked that three Board of Health appointments be pulled from the consent agenda because the agenda listed two-year terms in error. The chair said the statutory length of the appointments is three years and that the ending dates would be changed to June 30, 2028.
Jeremy Daters moved to approve the three appointments with the amended date of June 30, 2028; Doug McCain seconded. Chair clarified the appointments were for Dr. Tina Rosine, Karen Hillley and Vicki Buscher for terms running July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028. The motion carried on a voice vote.
The transcript records the clerical correction and the board action; no further discussion of the appointees’ qualifications or duties is included in the meeting record.
