Sugar Land 4B board appoints two members to FY2026 budget subcommittee

The Sugar Land 4B Corporation appointed Mary and Alan on May 20 to serve as the board's two-member budget subcommittee for fiscal year 2026.
At the meeting the board noted the subcommittee is typically composed of two 4B directors who are not members of the city council and that the group generally meets once to review proposed 4B budget items before the full board's July workshop. A board member moved to nominate "Mary and Alan" for the committee and the motion was seconded and approved unanimously.
Staff said the subcommittee will meet in the next few weeks to review materials and then report to the full board during the July 4B budget workshop.
The appointment was procedural and passed without further discussion or conditions.
