The board ratified an addendum to award a contract to Terra Construction LLC for priority repairs—beams, decks, staircases, fireproofing—and a range of ad alternates including interior surfacing—at an estimated cost of $1,071,303. The motion to ratify and approve the contract and bonds was moved and seconded and the board passed the motion.
Embark administrative building change order: The board approved Change Order No. 1 with Kade (Cade) Construction for Embark’s administrative building renovations to locate and identify electrical service entry points; staff said the change order adds $20,207 and extends the construction schedule by five days to permit the demolition and relocation work.
First Americans Museum riverboat landing: The board approved Change Order No. 2 with Manhattan Road & Bridge, the general contractor for the First Americans Museum riverboat landing, adding $50,318.22 to install additional drainage inlets and redirect drainage flow at the site after staff identified drainage issues during construction; the board voted to approve the change order.
