St. Charles Parish sets July 3 Independence Day celebration; forms committee to plan 250th observance

"If any of the council members or if anybody in the public at home is interested in serving on that to make sure that we can celebrate next year, and do it in style, please get in touch with my office or with Heather Skiba," Parish President Jewell said.
The remarks did not include a finalized budget or committee membership list; officials said planning and budgeting would begin now to prepare for the 250th observance.
