The council also discussed requests from residents for more crosswalks on county roads, noting that some crossings on county‑owned streets may require county approval. Councilors said they will explore whether the county can place interim crosswalks ahead of larger planned road projects and that the town could consider funding temporary crosswalks if the county declines to act before a scheduled capital project.
