The council received the planning commission’s recommendations and adopted several plats and replats during the meeting.
Sharon Tromberg, director of planning and community development, presented three items: a replat on Gary and Parker Street (RP25‑01 CF Noel addition) that splits an existing lot and formalized a previously built pair of homes; the planning commission granted a reduced side‑setback and the council adopted the replat ordinance and emergency clause. The meeting transcript records a council vote of carry 6‑1 for that item.
The council then approved a replat consolidating two lots in downtown (RP25‑03 Mountain View Second Subdivision) and adopted the emergency clause; the vote recorded as 7‑0.
Finally, the council approved the final plat for Jacob’s Crossing (phases 2 and 3), an approximately 18‑acre tract with about 63 single‑family lots in SF‑3 zoning. Tromberg said the property already held SF‑3 zoning and the final plat was approved by planning commission 8‑0; the council adopted the final plat and emergency clause with a recorded 7‑0 vote.
Council discussion clarified that one nearby parcel had previously been denied SF‑3 zoning; Tromberg said the Jacob’s Crossing site already had SF‑3 and no zoning change was required for the final plat. No objections were raised during the meeting record for these items.
