Urban Services Council retains existing officers

The Urban Services Council voted to keep its current officers during a regularly scheduled meeting. The chair (unnamed) moved to retain the existing slate; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.

The motion to “keep it same” was made by the chair (unnamed), who said the body could leave the officers unchanged or change them. The chair stated, “All in favor of that be me as chair, Lonnie as vice chair, and Mark as secretary.” Lonnie and Mark were confirmed in those roles by the voice vote of “Aye.”

The council has historically met infrequently — “once or twice a year,” the chair said — and the group did not change officers at this meeting. The meeting concluded after routine business and an adjournment motion. No contested nominations or recorded roll-call votes were taken.
