Schools Out Fest is scheduled for May 31 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park. "It's a free event for kids and adult admission is a snack donation," McAllister said. McAllister directed residents to backpackbuddiesoc.org for additional information.
The Orange City parks photo contest is open for submissions now through June 20; selected photos may be featured by the city. The red, white and blue pie-baking contest is open for entries ahead of the city's fireworks event in 2025, McAllister said. Details and entry instructions for all events are available on the city's website and event pages.
