Jason Horn presented the summary. He said 29% (about $35,000) of purchase order spending was for paramedic equipment (ventilator and extrication equipment); 26% (about $31,000) was for IT data-protection software; 21% (about $24,000) was for the roads department (repaving trails in the Upper Valley); and 11% (about $13,000) was for the library (camera and AED replacement). Horn said total warrants were 165 and the top warrant categories included security cameras and land maintenance for the Golden Spike Event Center and contributions to the Trails Foundation of Northern Utah from transportation tax dollars.
Horn listed the top five vendors by warrant amount as Trails Foundation of Northern Utah (~$94,000), Digital Systems Installation (~$84,000), Staker and Parson Companies (~$75,000), GSBS PC (~$67,000) and Rocky Mountain Power (~$36,000). The commission approved the consent items by motion and voice vote with no recorded opposition.
The consent agenda also included approval of minutes, new business licenses and new beer licenses as presented by staff.
