Dr. Wilcox closed the report by reminding the board of two near‑term events: a board retreat next Tuesday from 8 a.m. to noon at the University Center at the College of Lake County, where members will develop action plans and priorities for 2025‑26, and a Back to School Dash on Monday, Aug. 4, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the Zion‑Benton Township High School parking lot, coordinated with three neighboring districts.
