Commissioners authorize property closing execution and reject Hubbard Valley radio tower bids

At its June 17 meeting the Medina County Board of Commissioners approved a county-administrator resolution amending an earlier sale resolution to allow the board president to execute closing documents for the sale of the Professional Building at 120–124 West Washington Street.
The amendment, described by the presenter as not changing the approval of the bid itself, was intended to avoid requiring all three commissioners to sign every closing document. The board approved the amendment by roll call.
The board also authorized change orders for the county home emergency repair project and voted to reject bids for the Hubbard Valley radio tower project after all bids were more than 20% above the engineer's estimate. The rejection was described as the result of bids exceeding the advertised budget and will require re-advertisement or re-evaluation.
A motion to approve the three county-administrator resolutions was made and seconded; roll-call votes recorded yes votes from the commissioners. No additional conditions were recorded in the meeting minutes.
