Board approves purchase of portable screen for road material production, $91,489

Manous presented vendor quotes and recommended purchasing an EZScreen 1200 XLS portable screen from EZScreen through Argus Industrial for $91,489.12. He said mechanics are already familiar with EZScreen equipment and that the county would retain the old unit as a spare. Board members asked questions about prior maintenance history and durability; staff said the new screen would produce multiple material sizes for road base and related projects.
A motion to approve the purchase from EZScreen (Argus Industrial) not to exceed $91,489.12 was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
