Clifton Heights Borough Council voted June 17 to award the 2025 road program base bid to Innovative Construction Services of Folcroft for $191,340.75, the borough engineer reported. The bid was received at the borough’s bid opening and the engineer recommended contract award to Innovative Construction based on the lowest responsive bid.
Council moved and seconded the award during the manager’s report; a roll-call vote carried the motion. Staff said contract execution and schedule will be finalized with the contractor and brought back to council as required. The engineer noted the bid opening earlier in the day produced five bids and recommended Innovative Construction for the base bid amount.
Council indicated they expect the work to be scheduled during the construction season and asked staff to coordinate notice and traffic control as the program proceeds.
