Council approves nuisance abatements for eight properties to address grass and weed violations

Brent McCarver read the list of addresses and district assignments: 905 North Delaware Avenue (District 1); 1208 Tenth Avenue (District 4); 402 Glenview Drive (District 4, noted to also include accumulation); 1010 Sixth Avenue (District 4); 2301 Greenwood Circle (District 5); 1200 East Ridgewood Road (District 3, noted to include accumulation); 1300 Tenth Avenue (District 4; staff noted a related phone call and possible cleanup); and 2609 Preston Avenue (District 5). McCarver said citations will be issued for properties that include accumulation violations.
Council moved, seconded and approved the abatements by voice vote. The council did not discuss dollar fines, cost recovery, or timelines for compliance in the public meeting record.
