TIPP CITY, Ohio — The Tipp City Council on Monday approved a construction agreement that clears the way for construction of Section 3 of the Summit Landing Subdivision and introduced a final-plat ordinance covering that section.
City staff said the construction agreement permits building to begin on phase 3, which was described in the meeting as consisting of 44 single-family homes. The resolution authorizing construction moved forward as Resolution 21-25 and passed on a unanimous vote.
Council then introduced an ordinance for first reading approving the final plat for Summit Landing Section 3. Staff described the final plat as covering 47 lots on approximately 17.388 acres and noted dedication of right-of-way consistent with the construction agreement. The ordinance was sponsored by a council member and advanced through first reading; final approval will require subsequent council action.
There were no public speakers on these items during the meeting. Staff noted that construction and right-of-way dedication are standard steps to allow the developer to proceed with infrastructure work and home construction.
