The largest award in the packet is a $110,000 subrecipient agreement with Newark Development Partners and the CIC.
"This legislation allows us to enter into a subrecipient contract with area nonprofits," a city staff presenter told the committee. Council Member Barker moved the resolution; Council Member Hauser seconded, and the motion passed 5-0.
Committee discussion noted the range of award sizes and the mix of rental assistance and project funding but did not change the allocations during the meeting. The approvals authorize the mayor to execute the agreements; specific program details and reporting requirements will be managed through the subrecipient contracts and the city's CDBG program administration.
