Council approved a Planning Commission recommendation to reconfigure two parcels owned by Chad Nance — the original house parcel and an adjacent horseshoe‑shaped parcel — near Randy Drive and the hospital so the owner could enlarge the lot containing the house and reconfigure frontage on State Road 48.
Planning staff told council the applicant obtained a driveway permit from NDOT to ensure the remaining lot retains legal access. The action was unanimously approved after the planning commission had recommended the replat and the council moved and seconded the measure.
Council did not attach conditions beyond the planning commission’s recommendation; staff will record the reconfiguration per normal planning procedures.
