The Lawrenceburg Board of Works voted to award the 2025 Asphalt Crack and Seal Project to Paul Rowe Company at $3.50 per pound in place, under a not-to-exceed contract of $80,000. The board approved the contract after staff reported two bids had been received and recommended the lowest responsible quote.
The decision followed a presentation by Austin Cook, who told the board the city solicited pricing from four firms and received two proposals. Cook said the work will be paid from the 2025 street improvement line.
Board members moved and seconded the measure and approved it by voice vote. No amendments or conditions were attached at the time of the vote.
The contract covers crack sealing on city streets and parking areas; the city did not provide a schedule for when work will begin. The packet materials referenced by staff contained the contractor pricing and the recommended award.
