Commission staff explained the county serves as the pass-through recipient for state OCRA funds; no county operating dollars are being used for the YMCA roofing project. A pay application submitted by the YMCA was presented and commissioners voted to approve the payment.
During the discussion a larger project figure was mentioned — $446,525.94 — but after review county staff corrected the record, saying the current pay application under consideration was for $226,800. The commission voted to authorize payment for the invoice as presented and recorded.
Officials noted the project remains nearly complete and that roughly $130,100 was the remaining balance after the approved pay application. The county will transmit the state OCRA funds to the YMCA per the grant agreement as invoices are submitted.
