"Orange symbolizes the value of each person's life," she said, and urged residents to attend a Wear Orange rally on June 7 at Harmon Park.
Kelly said the county encourages all citizens to support local efforts and noted the proclamation characterizes gun violence as a public health and safety issue with daily national consequences. The board and advocates emphasized partnership with local law enforcement and community violence intervention resources.
