At the June 4 meeting the Columbia County Board of Commissioners approved the consent agenda, which contained multiple contract and settlement items.
The consent agenda as read into the record included several items: rescission of an earlier C28‑2025 public‑service contract with Securus Technologies and approval of a replacement public‑service contract (C305‑2025) for AIC phone services; rescission and approval entries related to the county’s master opioid settlement agreement with Target Corporation (authorization for Sarah Hansen to sign appears in the record); amendment No. 6 to the intergovernmental agreement with OHSU for the county health officer; and miscellaneous housekeeping items including approval of select payroll for 05/29/2025 and an order declaring a fiscal emergency and modifying recording dates under ORS 205.242 for the Columbia County Clerk.
A commissioner moved approval of the consent agenda, the motion was seconded and the record shows affirmative votes (“Aye”) from the board. Later in the meeting, commissioners also moved, clarified and approved specific contract amendments on the record, with a motion, a second and affirmative votes recorded. Staff identified a numbering/typo issue in the packet and clarified the correct contract numbers during the discussion.
The record does not show any dissenting votes on the consent items read at the meeting; staff were authorized to proceed with signature authority for specified agreements.
