The Fargo Board of Education unanimously approved the district’s 2025–26 Unified Strategic and Operational Plan by a 9–0 roll call vote.
Bill (district staff) reviewed a small number of requested edits under Strategic Initiative 5, saying some items were removed because they were “foundational practices” rather than measurable goals. “It wasn't something that needed to be measured, and it didn't need to be in the strategic plan,” he said when explaining the removal of a measure under SI5, result 1. He also noted language clarifications to a few measures to make them calculable.
Board member Robin moved to approve the plan and Allie (board member) seconded. A roll call followed and the motion carried 9–0. Administration and strategic initiative leaders were present for questions and the plan will guide the district’s work for the coming school year.
