"Moving to a consistent schedule of Tuesday through Saturday year round has many benefits...it would allow an ease on some of the pressure on our limited staffing resources," Briscoe said. He told the board the museum’s historical society unanimously supported the change.
Commissioners indicated this was an operational decision and stated they supported the director’s proposal; no formal motion was required. Board members emphasized the benefit of a consistent schedule for visitors and noted Monday is the museum’s lowest visitation day.
