The Board of County Commissioners approved a consent calendar item May 20 to authorize an amendment to the lease agreement with the Lane County Historical Society and to authorize the county administrator to execute the amendment.
The item, presented under public works as Board Order 25052006, was described by staff as an amendment to the agreement with Friends of the Lane County Historical Museum that provides a two‑year notice provision in the event the county terminates the lease. Dan Hurley had been listed on the agenda and Rachel Serslob was noted in the audience; county staff explained the amendment and answered no follow‑up questions.
A motion to adopt Board Order 25052006 was moved and seconded on the consent calendar; the board voted unanimously (5–0) to approve the amendment and to authorize execution by the county administrator.
The approval was taken on the consent calendar and no separate hearing or further action was requested at the meeting.
