The action came after county staff reported the gap between projected revenues and expenses had grown from about $107,000 to roughly $176,000 because of additions to personnel costs, vehicle expenses and updated benefit/retirement liabilities. A staff member told commissioners adjustments included nonunion pay changes, a previously unbudgeted vehicle, and a retirement contribution moving from 65% to 100% in July.
