A representative of BGO Pride told Bowling Green City Council on Monday that the 2025 Pride festival will take place Saturday, June 28, from 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Wooster Green in downtown Bowling Green. The event will include local vendors, community organizations, live entertainment, food trucks and family-friendly activities, the speaker said.
Maeve Georgeson, speaking on behalf of BGO Pride, said the nonprofit is “thrilled to officially announce” the event and expressed gratitude for ongoing partnerships with city leaders and departments. “We are deeply grateful for the ongoing partnership with city leaders and departments who continue to show up for the LGBTQ+ community,” Georgeson said.
The announcement came during the meeting’s lobby-visitation period; organizers did not request council action at the session but provided the event date and site and thanked staff for support. Council did not take a vote or adopt a resolution related to the event at the meeting.
