The Government Operations Committee on June 16 moved to refer an order authorizing the city manager to accept and appropriate $27,801 in additional grant funds from the Maine Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for Bangor Public Health and the city’s Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program.
A staff presenter noted the item had received first reading and, if the committee’s referral is approved by the full council, will proceed to second reading at the next council meeting. There were no substantive questions recorded during committee discussion. With a motion and second and no objections, the item will be listed on the next City Council agenda for final action.
