A committee member asked whether the city reviews the list of lead‑safe certified contractors on an annual basis. Staff replied that the Ohio Department of Health keeps the city updated on certifications and that the city is aware of contractors’ certification status.
Members asked when approved projects would begin. Staff estimated that projects for certain program batches could begin in July, subject to contractor schedules and clearances. Staff advised that applications were still being accepted and that the Housing Preservation Office and the Home Repair Resource Center are the points of contact for residents seeking program information.
