Commissioners and health staff expressed sympathy for recent family hardship cited by the owner but noted the property remained in violation.
After discussion that included county staff, the commissioners took the matter under advisement and set expectations for the next meeting: the owner must produce a plan to remove junk and resolve vehicle issues or provide contracts showing how demolition or repairs will be performed. If vehicles or trash are removed, the owner must provide documentation showing where they were taken (disposal receipts or bills of sale). The board scheduled a check‑in for July 7, 2025, at 9:15 a.m.
County staff said the preference was for an owner‑led remedy but that the county is prepared to pursue abatement and recovery of costs if the owner does not present a viable plan by the July 7 meeting.
