The times in the packet showed a change to lessons from the morning period to evening hours (noted by staff as 4:45–5:45 p.m. and another evening slot), and commissioners asked that the reserved times be posted so players do not travel to the courts only to find them in use.
Commissioners noted that Ken Wendell’s courts are among the city’s best and that posting the schedule electronically and at the site would prevent conflicts with walk-up players. A motion to approve the schedule change carried unanimously.
The commission directed staff to place known reservations on the city website and recommended a visible on-site notice so community members can see when courts are reserved for lessons.
