The council held a public hearing on the proposed 2025'26 budget before the votes; the public hearing opened and closed with no comments. City Manager Mike Darga told the council members they had received the full budget document in advance and that the council would act on the millage-rate resolution and the budget resolution as separate motions.
The approved budget document and the millage-rate resolution were attached to the council packet. Council members framed the votes as final adoption for the coming fiscal year; no amendments were recorded during the session.
