City Clerk Miss Hoover read the consent items into the record, saying the claims and electronic fund transfers totaled $2,819,116.13 and listing payroll amounts of $30,761.43 and $30,764.96. She also read that the council would confirm the reappointment of Angelica Neri to the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee and approve elimination of a code enforcement specialist position and creation of a code enforcement officer position for the Department of Community Development.
The agenda included Resolution No. 3396 to accept a Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan agreement with the Department of Ecology to design the Westside wastewater treatment plant improvements project and Resolution No. 3397 to accept a Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan agreement with the Department of Ecology to design and construct the East Side treatment plant UV replacement project. After a motion and second to approve the consent agenda, the council voted yes on the motion and "Motion carries unanimously" was announced.
The approvals authorize staff to proceed with design work under the state revolving fund loan framework; the loan agreements themselves and project budgets were included as consent items, not discussed individually at length during the meeting.
