The City of Orange appointed Caleb Harris to the Planning and Zoning Commission to fill an unexpired term ending Sept. 10, 2026.
City staff explained there was one vacancy and five applicants: Reginald Broussard, Scott Coker, Caleb Harris, Jerry Sallier and Dustin Yu. A council member nominated Caleb Harris and the council voted to appoint him.
The motion passed with recorded aye votes from Mister Birch, Mister Mortimer, Mister Chandler, Mister Childs, Miss Salter and Miss McKenna. Harris will serve the remainder of the term to Sept. 10, 2026.
