Miss Grama told council the 60‑day waiting period had been met and that Harris plans to use the funding for infrastructure leading to his project, located near the new Red Liquor Plaza in Little Cypress close to the former Spinning Wheels. The council voted to approve the resolution by recorded Aye votes.
Staff characterized the award as support for a local entrepreneur to prepare a site for business operations; details on the exact work to be funded were described as infrastructure "leading up to his project."
