Council tables five bills including rezoning and communications agreement; unanimous voice votes

Bill 64-77 (agreement with Weis Design Group for professional design services associated with Gentry Park Phase 2 grant project in the amount of $59,665.56) was read and tabled on a motion by Council member Weshi, seconded by Council member Suttell. Bill 64-78 was the ordinance implementing application 24-PZ-08 (rezoning approximately 472 acres to M3 planned manufacturing district); Council member Luke moved to table it and Council member Luther seconded.
Each tabling motion carried by voice vote with no opposition recorded. The council’s earlier roll call showed seven members present, so the motions carried with a seven-yes, zero-no tally in the public record.
