The presentation identified specific allocations, including about $22.3 million in general fund for Oregon's wrongful conviction compensation statute, $6.3 million general fund for CASA, $5.7 million in lottery funds for county fairs, and increases intended to stabilize statewide payroll operations.
The Ways and Means subcommittee recommended approval. Representative Smith closed without further debate and the clerk declared the bill passed after the voting system was opened and the measure received the constitutional majority.
The bill will move through enrollment and transmittal to the governor for signature and then to DAS for program-level implementation and administrative rule changes as needed.
