Superintendent Mr. Olinger announced administrative staffing changes at the Plainfield Community School Corp’s June meeting, naming Kylie Tutterow as the district’s new director of student learning and promoting Brooke Walden from assistant principal to principal at the middle school.
Olinger said the district has a record of developing leaders from within and introduced Tutterow to the board. “I feel very blessed. You know, this is my finishing up 19 years in this district,” Tutterow said, addressing the board and thanking members for the opportunity. “I hope to use all of those experiences to work alongside Laura and just make Plainfield Schools even better.”
Olinger also described other internal moves: Brandon Wagner was identified as moving into an assistant principal role (he was not present at the meeting), and Britney Stewart was introduced as the new dean of students at the middle school. Board members praised the district’s leadership pipeline but the transcript does not show a formal motion, second, or recorded vote on these personnel changes.
The announcements included expressions of confidence in the appointees and remarks by Tutterow and others about continuity and leadership. The transcript records thanks and congratulations from the board and district staff.
