Board members discussed the routine nature of the measure before taking the vote. A motion to approve was made by Pat and seconded by Chelsea; the vote was 5-0 in favor.
The resolution’s immediate effect is to ensure the district can meet contractual and payroll obligations during the summer period without waiting for the next scheduled board meeting. The board did not discuss any specific pending claims during the motion.
The action was recorded as a formal resolution and will remain in effect until the date specified in the motion, July 10, 2025, unless the board votes to rescind it at an earlier meeting.
