Envoy selects Bloomington for U.S. operations, BDC says, projecting 50–100 jobs

Envoy projected it will create roughly 50 to 100 jobs over the next few years and said it will prioritize hiring veterans and operate programs to create pathways for formerly incarcerated individuals to join its workforce. The company invited commissioners to a planned ribbon-cutting in September and thanked the BEDC and county for support tied to revitalization efforts at the Otis site.
Commissioners welcomed the announcement and suggested county veteran services could connect Envoy to local hiring resources. No county financial incentives or formal agreements were described during the announcement; the item was presented as a public business-attraction update rather than an actionable contract.
