He also said the village would note the May adoption of its updated comprehensive land use plan.
Board members asked clarifying questions about the statutory process. Staff said communities that do not meet the statute's 10% affordable housing threshold receive communications from IHDA and must submit or update plans; the village is complying by holding the public hearing and approving a minor update.
A motion to adopt the resolution approving the affordable housing plan update was made and approved by voice vote. Trustees did not specify a roll-call tally in the record beyond the voice vote; the mayor declared the motion carried.
