Weatherstone residents press Warren County for permanent fix after repeated flooding

Ladanna Froach, president of the Weatherstone Homeowners Association, told the Warren County Fiscal Court on June 13 that 132 families in the Weatherstone Subdivision on Russellville Road have been flooded multiple times and are seeking a permanent remediation plan.
"I come before you to advocate for the 132 families in my subdivision," Froach said. She told the court the subdivision first flooded in March 2021 and again in February and April 2025, and that homeowners were told after the 2021 flood it was a "100‑year flood" and would not recur. Froach said the HOA reviewed the subdivision's stormwater quality management plan and found the only engineering signatory was Michael S. Doyle, whose listed suffixes are EIT (engineer in training) and LSIT (land surveyor in training).
