Board approves Wayfinder elementary wellness curriculum for 2025–26 school year

The Murray School District Board of Education approved the district’s proposed elementary wellness curriculum, Wayfinder, on June 12 and directed staff to ready materials for use in the 2025–26 school year.
Sierra Marsh introduced the curriculum and invited questions and feedback: "I am here to chat with you and see if there are any additional questions or conversation we like to have regarding the proposed elementary wellness curriculum Wayfinder as we head into the 2025–2026 school year," she said. Board members said they had reviewed the materials and expressed support.
A board member moved to approve the curriculum; the motion passed by voice vote. Superintendent and staff will prepare implementation details and report back on progress as the program is rolled out.
Board members indicated they look forward to subsequent reporting on outcomes after the curriculum is in use.
