The Yeadon Borough Council unanimously adopted a consolidated 2025 fee schedule on June 12 intended to replace fees currently embedded in multiple ordinances.
Staff said the change does not raise any listed fees but moves existing fee language to a single, annually reviewable schedule so residents and vendors can find current charges in one place. "We're gonna move those from the ordinances to a master fee schedule to make it clearer for residents and vendors to be able to, know exactly how much things cost in real time," a staff presenter said.
Several councilors suggested alternative phrasing to avoid the word "master" given the timing near Juneteenth; the council agreed to refer to it simply as the "2025 fee schedule." Councilors said future fee changes would be reviewed annually during the budget process to avoid reworking multiple ordinances.
The amended fee schedule was adopted by unanimous roll-call vote.
