Staff explained the changes were recommended after a recent work session and that Joe Albright “will not be with us past June,” so he cannot remain the owner’s representative on the project. Board members asked for comments; none were raised that altered the motion. The board approved the contract revisions by voice vote.
The motion also added a provision to ensure the board retains final approval over changes that would increase the project cost or materially change the work, and staff said the change-order clause is intended to protect the district’s fund balance and oversight.
