Board approves personnel slate; one resignation withdrawn

The Danville Area School District Board of Education approved personnel consent items covering hires, leaves and other personnel actions at its June 11 meeting after removing one item from the slate.
Superintendent Doctor Nead told the board that agenda item 11.8 had been removed because the individual rescinded their resignation and therefore the board would not vote on that resignation. The remaining personnel items (11.2 through 11.25, with 11.8 removed) were approved by roll call.
Board members spoke briefly to welcome new hires and offer good wishes to departing staff. The district did not read individual personnel names or terms into the record during the public vote beyond noting the rescinded resignation and the board’s action to approve the consent slate.
The board recorded unanimous approvals on the slate after the removal of 11.8. The district packet contains the full personnel listings for public review.
