The Delhi Township Board of Trustees on Wednesday accepted the voluntary resignation of Zoning Inspector John E. Schill Jr., effective June 3, 2025, and authorized the township administrator to execute a contract to market leasable space at 5029 Delhi Pike.
Director of Community Development Roach moved the motion to authorize the administrator to enter into a contract with Wire Real Estate Group to market leasable space at the township’s facility. The board approved the motion by roll call.
Administrator Miller told trustees the marketing and events director posting closed with 22 applicants. He said a special public meeting will be scheduled next week to open and adjourn publicly before the board holds an executive session to discuss personnel and interviews; no final hiring action will be taken in the special meeting’s public portion.
Miller also announced a separate hiring posting for a zoning inspector position that is open until filled and invited interested members of the public to apply.
The board did not transfer property or change zoning rules; the actions were limited to accepting a resignation, authorizing a marketing contract, and scheduling personnel review and potential interviews.
